About

Music lovers and critics around the world have been marveling at the range of vocalist, Karrin Allyson. Allyson is an extraordinary musician, who moves with ease and authority from the Great American Songbook of Gershwin and Porter, to the Great American Jazzbook. Allyson has been nominated for five Grammy Awards and has been heralded as "a singer with a feline touch and impeccable intonation.” (The New York Times)
Her trio appears with America's Big Band, the U.S. Army’s 19-piece Jazz Ambassadors, who have received worldwide acclaim performing America's original art form. The evening will also feature the Berkshires Jazz Youth Ensemble, in residence at Herberg Middle School in Pittsfield, MA.

All About Jazz needs your support

Donate
All About Jazz & Jazz Near You were built to promote jazz music: both recorded albums and live events. We rely primarily on venues, festivals and musicians to promote their events through our platform. With club closures, limited reopenings and an uncertain future, we've pivoted our platform to collect, promote and broadcast livestream concerts to support our jazz musician friends. This is a significant but neccesary step that will help musicians and venues now, and in the future. You can help offset the cost of this essential undertaking by making a donation today. In return, we'll deliver an ad-free experience (which includes hiding the sticky footer ad). Thank you!
